WILD WILD BUNCH

Salem Days '09 was a rip-roarin' wild time. Mindi, Jodi & Kim and their families came on Tuesday for the cardboard/duct tape boat regata. It always amazes me any of them float, and no surprise that some of them don't. Then Darin's family arrived on Thurs, and then the Bairs, Kevin & Susie & April on Friday. We fed the "quackers" (as usual) and played at the park & in the backyard, had hot doggies and s'mores on the fire out back. Saturday the Pierces came on down for the parade where we packed in the candy. Then the Goebels rolled in for our backyard roundup with the family tree, stick horses, shootin', lassoin', face paintin' in the teepee, gold diggin', horseshoes, sack races, crafts, etc. etc. Oh yeh, a whole chuckwagon full of grub too. That dern Sheriff (Papa) had to arrest a few bad guys & gals for horse stealin' and shootin' crazy though. Then they got hauled off to jail, but they all escaped and are now WANTED. The weather was so dad bern cool that we didn't get too wet (except Devan) and it was a long cold night waitin' for those blame fireworks. Just in case you missed them thar fireworks, Kevin took some great pics. For more pics, check out the McPo Family Photos blog. We sure missed Jaxon's family, Mindi's family and Katrina on Saturday. Hope you all can make it next year cause it's in the works already.
