Friday morning the doorbell rang uncommonly early and there on our doorstep stood our California kids! They had driven all night to be here for the weekend. Surprise isn't an adequate word for what I felt. It was so fun to see Jaxon & Cori and our two cute little ones - Dax & Aleena - and get to spend the weekend with them.
Friday night the girls, who knew all about them coming, planned a McCloy cousin night.
Saturday the weather cooperated long enough for our Easter egg hunt and weenie roast.
